If you've enjoyed a great day out with Girls on Hills this year or are booked onto a course for 2024, then help us 'pay it forward' by gifting a donation to our not-for-profit Access Fund on behalf of a trail-lover in your life. Our crowdfunding appeal is fundraising for women who struggle to access trail running and mountain recreation due to additional barriers such as mental health issues, trauma/abuse, underrepresentation, social isolation or financial difficulty. To 'pay it forward' as a gift, simply donate via our Crowdfunder page and then email us to let us know about your donation. We are HUGELY grateful to all who donate but your donations are confidential to us - so we can't thank you all individually. If you email us with your details, we will send you a personalised thank you/gift note explaining our gratitude and detailing the wider value of your contribution towards our goal of empowering women and improving access for all.

You can gift the runner in your life a voucher to the value of a day out with Girls on Hills or for any sum that suits your budget! Put it towards a course, recce or retreat! Via our website you can purchase a bespoke day for one or two persons, or set values of £50 or £100 (pay by Paypal). But if you want to gift a different amount just drop us an email at info@girlsonhills.com. Once you have checked-out, you'll get an email confirmation from PayPal - this means we have received your order! We'll then email you a PDF Girls on Hills voucher. All vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Does the runner in your life have a big goal for 2024? A personalised training plan from ultrarunning legend Nicky Spinks is a great way to structure training and achieve success without committing to a contract. Scottish Gin
If you enjoy a nip of gin, then check-out the Christmas collection from our partners at the Gin Bothy - a female-owned Scottish distillery making gins infused with botanicals from the Scottish Highlands. Our usual favourite is the Rhubarb liqueur gin with a dash of Prosecco but the warming Gunshot gin is ideal for Christmas! The Gin Bothy also now make award-winning jam!
The Gin Bothy sponsor our popular Bothy Runs each year (now in their 4th year!) These fastpacking weekends cost £250pp - including two days of run guiding (via numerous remote Scottish bothies), one night accommodation in a lochside, offgrid eco-hostel and gin-tasting in the wilds of Rannoch Moor! Our biggest new event for 2024 is our North West Giants weekend based out of Lochinver in the North West Highlands. This area of Scotland (especially Assynt and Coigach) has outstanding natural beauty, offering iconic mountains, white sand beaches and dark skies. All this is captured perfectly by local photographer Chris at Jackson Photography. You can 'shop local' and buy prints from Chris via his online shop.
